Brian Giannattasio leads SMART's Transaction Advisory Services. He has over 20 years of experience advising corporations on both domestic and international tax matters. His extensive experience includes providing tax advice with regard to mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, pre and post acquisition restructuring and dealing with the IRS National Office. Prior to joining SMART, Brian was in the Washington National Office of Deloitte Tax, LLP where he was responsible for providing domestic and international tax advice with regard to corporate reorganizations, repatriation planning, federal income tax reporting of international transactions, foreign investments in U.S. real property (FIRPTA) and tax deferral.
