Gary is the state and local income / franchise tax practice leader at SMART. He has over 17 years of public accounting experience serving clients in a variety of industries including biotech, high-tech, manufacturing, service and retail. These clients include all sizes of companies from start up to over $1 billion in sales, with the majority of clients in the $25 million to $750 million range. In 2005, Gary headed up the companies involvement in the Bio 2005 International Convention. Gary is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Bar. He has spoken on state taxes before various professional associations including the Pennsylvania and Maryland CPA Societies, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the National Association of Tax Professionals, as well as the International Group of Accounting Firms (IGAF).
