With over eighteen years of actuarial, financial and operational experience, Laura Johnson specializes in operational and management consulting for the insurance and reinsurance industries. Laura has extensive experience in project management and process design and automation of insurance operations. Since joining SMART, Laura has led numerous large insurance and reinsurance consulting engagements focused on implementing technology solutions to automate insurance business processes. Laura has project managed the design and development of a comprehensive reinsurance application suite for a large Global P&C insurance company which manages the complete lifecycle of the reinsurance process. Laura has also led engagements on organizational design, risk based assessments of insurance company operations, MGA premium audits and assisted a company managing their asbestosis aggregates.
