Fred Kohm is a Managing Director in the Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support Practice of SMART. Fred has provided Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support Services to companies ranging in size from multi-billion dollar publicly held entities to mid sized and emerging growth companies. Services Fred provides to his clients include Fraud Detection and Investigations, Arbitration and Settlement Assistance, special accountings, tracing, reconstructions and cash flow analysis. Additionally, Fred provides significant leadership to SMART's Insurance and Reinsurance Services (SIRS) practice, where he has led the company's largest projects; assisting clients in understanding and accounting for large domestic and international property and casualty insurance and reinsurance programs during the normal course of business and in cases of dispute.

In the past several years, Fred has provided Forensic and Litigation support services to both solvent and insolvent companies in a number of industries including insurance, reinsurance, healthcare, higher education, and banking. Fred’s forensic accounting and litigation support experience includes acting as both consultant and expert to outside litigators and general counsel assisting clients in venues such as arbitration, rescission, mediation, and federal and state court.
