GROWING SMART IN ALBANY

Albany, NY, January 03, 2008  ... SMART Business Advisory and Consulting LLC has named Geoffrey S. Plante to the position of Senior Manager in the Albany, NY office. 

In his role at SMART, Plante brings extensive expertise in program management, business process design, procurement, and organizational development. He is particularly skilled at working with senior government officials with implementing their vision – working with teams to ensure there is a shared vision, that priorities are clear, and that communications are effective. 

Prior to joining SMART, Plante was Director for Business Development and New York State Account Lead for the New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation. In that capacity, he directed the business development and marketing activities for New York State and local government clients and customer satisfaction for all business of the organization.

Previously, Plante has been at KPMG Consulting Inc. for more than 10 years in a series of increasingly responsible positions.
